What We Do

Our Services

We offer boarding for Cats, Dogs and Small Animals at Mary’s PetVilla Cattery and Dog Home Boarding on the Kapiti Coast. Your Pet can relax here during your holiday or business trip. It will become their “home away from home”. We are located at the end of the Kapiti Expressway and easy to find coming from Wellington, Kapiti and Levin. We are close to SH1.

Pet Holiday

Only going away for the weekend? No problem, we got your pet covered. We can accommodate both short and long term stays, offer WebCams for Cats. See details on our List of Services.

Pet Sabbatical

Going on a long holiday, overseas for business or will be away from home for a while? Let your pet have a good time and receive a discount for long-term stays.

Special Services

Does your pet have medical needs or is on a special diet? Or perhaps you want to keep in touch from your Smartphone or Tablet, then consider the option for a Petzi Treat Cam (Cats) or our Critter Cam (Small Animals). No need to worry, we are happy to take care of those.

Pet Shuttle

We offer pick-up & Drop-off services in Kapiti, Wellingtion Airport & CBD and Levin. Read more about this in our service & pricelist. Of Course, you can bring your pet to us – we are close to SH1

About our PetVilla

Boarding For your Pet

We are in a peaceful setting of the Kapiti Coast in Te Horo, A quiet and lovely area will await your pet during their stay with us, and with Spacious accommodation, your pet will feel less stressed staying with us.

For cats, We have a wonderful, temperature-controlled, semi-community play area inside and a Safe enclosed area outside where your cats can enjoy the sunlight and birdlife. For Small animals, we have nice indoor hutches and playpens for exercise. For dogs, we have dog cabins, offer regular leashed walks on our property and a Dog Sleeping Room in our House.

Mary’s Petvilla

My Name is Mary and I’m the owner of PetVilla. Being an animal lover and having pets of my own, I know just how important it is to leave your fur-Babies with someone who truly cares. Most of all, I am a very responsible & caring person and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I’m trained and certified in Pet First Aid and CPR by the PET First Aid & Training (NZ) Ltd and My Facility is approved by the AsureQuality Pet Boarding Programme.

Before moving to New Zealand, I lived in California and worked at a vet clinic, before starting my own pet care company and doing animal rescue work. I also have experience with special need pets and administering medication (pills, liquid, ointment, and injections). My husband and I have owned cats, dogs and small animals for many years, and in 2016 we started our a Cattery on Kapiti Coast, before moving to Te Horo and re-opening as Mary`s PetVilla.
